Below are some of the many fantastic testimonials we have received from parents and carers.
Very caring, friendly and helpful staff. I like that they teach respecting other children and including your peers in everything you do. Easy to book too! I like the rules they instil as well.
My girls loved it and I’m so pleased they join for the week. They have learnt so many different things and their confidence has grown.
Made a huge difference to us this summer. As a single dad with another son who is autistic CHIPS gave X a fabulous opportunity to play and meet new friends.
Able to care for my husband more as he is in a wheelchair and needs intensive care.
It means a summer where my child is occupied and I feel less guilty about going to work. She has enjoyed all activities that she would not get at home. Loved every minute.
Chips has made a big difference to our lives this summer as my children have special needs and summer hols are too long for them as they are use (sic) to routine. They loved chips and want to come back next year. Staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you.
CHIPS is an excellent provision for working parents. Its affordability has really helped us out. Invaluable.
It makes it possible for us to go to work and pay a reasonable amount for childcare – my children have a fantastic time and have lots of opportunities to learn and have fun at same time. Being self-employed I have to work in school holidays so it is very difficult to find childcare at a price we can afford.
CHIPS has helped me spend more quality time with my older children, who don’t really want to do the activities suitable for 5 year olds. CHIPS has helped my home environment, making older children feel more involved as a family. Thank you!!
As foster carers for Surrey County Council we have used CHIPS over a number of years. We have not used CHIPS every year, it depends on what children we have placed with us at the time. Without a doubt the children placed with us have all benefitted from going to CHIPS. Though reluctant at first they all settle in and look forward to going. It also gives us a little respite (much needed).
It’s what the children need in the summer holidays. They look forward to going to chips. Value for money meaning I can go to work all day knowing there (sic) safe.
CHIPS is fantastic, my son loves coming every year! We are reassured that he is in a safe and happy environment. Thank you.
CHIPS helps me with my work commitment; it enables me to concentrate on work without having to worry about childcare or safety of my child. My daughter loves it and wishes it was available at Easter too!
The chance for my child to mix with mainstream kids and expand his social skills. My child is happy and his behaviour at home improves. I get a break from caring.
A safe environment with a similar staff base each year that gives a secure feeling to the children. The staff are fabulous. Each time X is on a break from school he asks if CHIPS is on, it’s by far his first choice over the many other activities we do in the holidays.
It is so fantastic to have an ‘affordable’ playscheme in the summer holiday – being a working mum it is perfect and the children have such a great time with lots to do and achieve. Staff are friendly and you have peace of mind knowing your child is having fun and being well cared for. Thank you!
Staff are very smiley and happy. Very happy with the start and end to the day. Very straightforward and well organised. Means I can get to work at a good time and not rushing either end of the day. Great range of activities. My child has thoroughly enjoy the day not at all bored like Koosa club and Supercamps plus much cheaper.
It has given my children opportunities to try different activities which would be difficult for us as their father is in a wheelchair.
It enables both parents to work during the holidays in the knowledge that our child is safe and having fun. We would otherwise have to take unpaid leave, as other childcare is prohibitively expensive.
Really love chips in the summer for my children. It’s a lifeline for them to try new things.
Chips means that I can work and know the children are taken care of. Its reasonable so doesn’t break the bank. It gives the children a break from parents!!!
The summer holidays are a long period off school so it’s nice for my child to see her friends again and meet new ones as well.
Having X in Chips in the middle of the holidays meant I could have a break and recharge for the rest of the holiday. My son was a new child at home after every day. So, whatever you are doing, keep doing it. There was less challenging behaviours, he was more affectionate and talkative. We were able to enjoy each other’s company every night and bedtime routine went like clockwork.
